TAMARA B. McKINNEY
CEO of The Constant Group, Inc.
MBA, Harvard Business School

Tamara McKinney is founder of The Constant Group, Inc. serving as CEO, business broker and business strategy consultant for our clients. In addition to being a licensed business broker, Tamara is a member of the National Association of Women Business Owners (NAWBO), the Midwest Business Brokers & Intermediaries (MBBI), International Business Brokers Association (IBBA), the Turnaround Management Association (TMA), the Midwest U.S.-China Association, the Association for Computing Machinery (ACM), and the Union League Club of Chicago (ULCC).

Tamara is an alumna of the Harvard Business School where she received her MBA with Second Year Honors. She then joined Bain & Company where she helped clients of all sizes improve their business performance and competitiveness in a variety of industries -- automotive manufacturing, high technology, consumer products, food products, health products, pulp and paper manufacturing, transportation, and financial services. Prior to graduate school, Tamara rose through the ranks of management at NCR Corporation and AT&T where she worked with major accounts in retail, finance, telecommunications, manufacturing, healthcare and government.

Prior to founding The Constant Group, she advised in the mid-market and startup spaces. In her work with small and medium -sized business owners, she noticed that the M&A broker/intermediary services routinely used by larger companies were frequently out of reach for small business owners wishing to exit. Likewise, those interested in running or growing their own business frequently were unaided in their quest to find and acquire appropriate businesses. To address these gaps, Tamara set out to make the highest quality business intermediary/broker, consultancy, and advisory services more accessible to the owners of small and medium -sized businesses. In doing so, The Constant Group strives to strengthen and promote business health, local economies, and entrepreneurial opportunities and rewards.
